Born and raised in Karl-Marx-Stadt, a textile center of former East Germany, Ivonne Dippmann began her artistic journey in 2008 in Jerusalem, Israel. This marked the inception of her art studies and her eventual path towards becoming a healer. Israel soon became her second home, significantly influencing her artistic identity.

Ivonne's academic background is rooted in rigorous studies in Visual Communication, Media Design, Art History, and Literature. This education provided her with a solid foundation in both theory and practice. As a recognized artist, she holds a Master's and Meisterschüler in Visual Communication and Experimental Media Design, as well as a Master's in Fine Arts from Bezalel, Tel Aviv.

Throughout her artistic career, Ivonne has consistently demonstrated an exceptional ability to push the boundaries of traditional artistic mediums. With an interdisciplinary approach and diverse educational background, she has crafted a unique visual language that navigates seamlessly between various artistic realms. Her work is always site-specific, intricately woven into the surroundings and characteristics of a space.

Whether creating site-specific murals, illustrations, large-scale paintings, collages, pattern designs, or art books, Ivonne's insatiable curiosity drives her to explore and document space in all its poetic forms. Her portfolio showcases a diverse range of exhibitions and projects, each highlighting her unique perspective and creative vision.

In 2015, Ivonne returned from Tel Aviv and founded Atelier Ivonne Dippmann. Situated in a former industrial area south of Berlin, the studio thrives in a down-to-earth environment that combines various craft workshops and artist studios. The studio strongly believes in sustainable production and fair trade, ensuring all items are locally produced in collaboration with partners across Germany. Most notably, knitwear projects like 'the kids want communism' are crafted in Saxony and Thuringia, while furniture and interior design projects are predominantly developed and realized in Berlin.

Since 2022, Ivonne has embraced the role of a Reiki Master, guiding individuals through their transformative journeys. This role has been profoundly fulfilling, fostering reflection and challenging one's immediate environment, thus promoting a healthier interaction with society.

Barefoot

I was in the South Pacific many years ago, lying down in the middle of the vast seas. When you look up at the sky, you lose sight of the four corners of the world. And that glorious blue, where does it come from? The current carried me past Polynesia, Melanesia, and Micronesia. Where did it all start? With me, sitting in a red nutshell, surrounded by mountain ranges and volcanoes. My feet dangled in turquoise-blue water, and in my hands, I held the firmament of the sky.

Study on What Was Found – Yesterday and Before in My Studio.

With rational thoughts, I walked home through dense fog. It was drizzling, gray, and cold. In complete silence, I heard a song that I remembered from my childhood. People from all over the world chimed in with it in spirit. On these few centimeters of emotion, reality and the past were barely 300 meters apart. Out of reach, one shouted to the other, "All nonsense, what you're saying!", and left the hotel room.

Now I lay there, was outraged, and couldn't understand the world anymore. "Keep an eye on my suitcase!", someone silently shouted after me. I hid in the shadow of a thick chestnut tree and took a deep breath. The pioneers had disappeared, and with them, my country. All a misunderstanding, pure stupidity, I thought to myself. I pulled a carefully folded note from my pocket, labeled: "This encounter remained under the strictest confidentiality."

No one knew about it, and in the twilight of the forest, the following words looked at me unmistakably: "In reality, love has always been a mystery to me." Smiling, I took a step back. In the heat of earthly wisdom, I called home and left a message. The events in this area were not thought out from beginning to end. In that, we were similar to each other, it was actually the other way around.

I woke up the next morning, the cold had vanished, and I had a magnificent view of the sea. I took it as a compliment.
